Choosing a career isn't just about selecting a course or a university. It's about discovering a path that aligns with who you are and who you aspire to become.
I'm Ani, a UCLA Certified Global Career Counsellor, and over the past several years I've had the privilege of working with students and families as they navigate some of life's most important decisions.
My journey has taught me that every student is different. There is no single definition of success, and there is no substitute for listening with empathy. That's why I take the time to understand each student's aspirations, strengths, interests, and concerns before offering guidance. I research career pathways, universities, scholarships, admission requirements, and future opportunities before making any recommendation. My advice is never one-size-fits-all. Every recommendation is made with care, backed by research, and tailored to the individual.
Whether you're choosing a stream after Grade 10, selecting a course after Grade 12, planning a Masters degree, exploring study abroad opportunities, or simply feeling uncertain about your next step, I'm here to walk alongside you with honesty, care, and clarity.

Visit Ask A Student
In 2022, I joined Ask A Student, where I had the opportunity to work closely with students and parents from many different backgrounds. Through hundreds of conversations, I discovered my passion for career counselling and learned the lessons that shape how I work today.
Ask A Student will always hold a special place in my heart. It gave me opportunities to learn, grow, and find my calling. I will always be grateful for the trust, encouragement, and experiences I received there, because without that journey, Elgracia would not have been possible.
Over the years, one thing became very clear to me. Many students and families needed guidance, but professional career counselling often felt out of reach. That never sat right with me, because I believe every student deserves the opportunity to make sound decisions about their future, regardless of their circumstances.
That belief is what inspired Elgracia: professional, personalised career guidance that families can genuinely afford.
The name Elgracia is deeply personal to me.
"El" is one of the names used for God in the Bible, and "Gracia" means grace.
When I look back on my life, from my education and career, to taking a break to care for my family, to rebuilding my career and beginning this new chapter, I can only say that everything I have received has been by God's grace.
Elgracia is my way of acknowledging that truth. It reminds me that every opportunity is a gift, and every student and family I have the privilege to guide is someone I have been entrusted to serve.
While my work is rooted in my Christian values and ethical practices, Elgracia warmly welcomes students and families from every background. I strive to serve every individual with compassion, integrity, humility, and genuine care.
